Veneers
These are extremely thin porcelain facings which are bonded to the front surface of your teeth to alter the apparent size, shape and colour. They can be as little as 0.1mm thick which is the same as a contact lens. Despite being so thin these dental veneers are relatively strong when properly bonded to the front surface of your teeth.

Veneers are used when the teeth have no fillings and are in good condition but the shape,size or colour needs to be altered. Veneers cannot be used when there are large existing fillings in the teeth as these will require to be replaced at regular intervals. In these cases crowns may be a better alternative.
